News Intern - Spring 2014

Effie Nicholaou joins Charlottesville Tomorrow after studying Architectural History at the University of Virginia ('13). Having grown up in Ivy and graduated from Western Albemarle HS, she has spent time studying and working in Athens, Greece and Berlin, Germany. Effie looks forward to a career focused on community design and urban studies.

What makes Charlottesville-Albemarle special to you?
The great culture and beautiful countryside. The city and county are great compliments to each other, providing the best of both city happenings and rural charm.

Ultimate Charlottesville Saturday?
My ultimate Charlottesville Saturday would be relaxing yet social. Beginning with a long brunch, friends and I would walk or drive through the countryside. Later, dinner on the downtown mall would be followed up with a show at one of the many music venues in town.

Most looked-forward-to part of working at Charlottesville Tomorrow?
After having grown up and studied in Charlottesville, I look forward to gaining a new perspective on why and how it is a great place.
