Illumination of CitySpace
Projection mapping as an art form has been around for decades in various forms and with various cultural slants. It reflects both technical innovation, artistry and storytelling into a medium of often epic size and impact. Architecture as a canvas. Light as paint.
Visual artist Jeff Dobrow (aka Doc Jim) will project an abstract visual exploration onto the exterior of CitySpace. The short looping piece will play with various organic animations and sequences contrasted against the vertical structure and will work in concert with a regional DJ mix.
Gallery showing from 5:30pm - 7:30pm. Discussion with author Melody Warnick - 6:15pm. Outdoor Projection Art display begins at dusk.
