The World Peace Game Foundation will be hosting a World Peace Game Camp with John Hunter in Charlottesville, June 19 - 23. The Camp is a 5-day intensive version of Hunter's internationally acclaimed World Peace Game. The World Peace Game is a hands-on political simulation that gives players the opportunity to explore the connectedness of the global community through the lens of the economic, social, and environmental crises and the imminent threat of war. The goal of the game is to extricate each country from dangerous circumstances and achieve global prosperity with the least amount of military intervention.
When: Monday June 19 - Friday June 23, 8:30 am - noon.
Where: Murray High School
Ages: The Camp is open to children between the ages of 9 and 12, reading on grade level, and proficient in English.
Cost: $295, some scholarship funds are available.
