Stream stewardship discussed at Nelson County breakfast

Ideas of how farmers and homeowners can help improve stream quality and thus help clean the Chesapeake Bay were discussed at an informational breakfast Friday morning.
About 30 people attended a presentation on stream stewardship tips, sponsored by the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and Rivanna Conservation Society.
The breakfast, held at Devils Backbone Brewing Company, was the first presentation the foundation held in Nelson County, although it has done similar ones in other places around Virginia.
