Local plant experts compile native plant database

Albemarle County staff, native plant experts and the Natural Heritage Committee have created a comprehensive list of the best growing and most commercially available plants in the county, according to a news release from the county.
The county created the database after receiving multiple requests for plant recommendations for storm water management facilities.
