Celebrate Our Place and Your Life In It

Charlottesville Tomorrow invites you to be a part of history by submitting 1 or 2 photographs to the Charlottesville Tomorrow Time Capsule Photography Project.

We are pleased to be the corporate sponsor of the new time capsule for Celebrate 250! The photographs submitted will be placed in the Charlottesville Tomorrow Time Capsule as part of Charlottesville's 250th anniversary celebration.  That means your photo will be part of history when the time capsule is closed on December 23rd and opened in fifty years during Celebrate 300!

This is a community photography project that asks both casual and serious local photographers to document how their lives intersect with our community.

The photos submitted will serve future generations as a visual archive of what our lives in the Charlottesville/Albemarle area looked like during the week of October 21-27, 2012.

How do I participate?

  • Learn more by visiting the project web page at http://www.cvilletomorrow.org/timecapsule
  • Entires will be accepted starting on Sunday, October 21st
  • Check the website often to watch a live gallery of images being submitted by the community during Oct 21-27
  • Spread the word by sharing this article, the web page, and our Facebook event
