The City of Charlottesville has new design guidelines in place for seasonal restaurant tents and 4 local restaurants learned recently that their existing tents, if left up for more than 5 days, are now in violation of the guidelines. The Commonwealth Restaurant & Skybar tried to rectify that situation by submitting an application to erect their Skybar tent. The design was not well received and the restaurant owner requested a deferral of his application.
How do you think Charlottesville should handle restaurant tents?
|
Be thoughtful
Please review tent applications carefully following the new guidelines in the City of Charlottesville. |
Be more permissive
Allow a greater number of tents to facilitate local business requests. |
No tents
I don't think we should have any tents for more than 5 days (what's allowed for special events). |
