As research for future stories about the Rivanna River corridor, Charlottesville Tomorrow set out on Wednesday to explore a 6.5 mile stretch of the Rivanna River from the base of the South Fork Dam to Darden Towe Park. We were guided by local paddlers John Holden & Aaron Hammer. Charlottesville Tomorrow's team included Tim Shea & Brian Wheeler.
This 3 minute video captures a spectacular day of paddling on a truly amazing natural resource.
We want to give special thanks to Blue Ridge Mountain Sports and the Rivanna Conservation Society for assisting with this project.
