A leaky pool has been a persistent money drain for the city of Charlottesville, leading city officials to file a lawsuit against the companies that built it.

According to the suit, which seeks almost $139,000 in reimbursement from two contractors, the Onesty Family Aquatic Center in Meade Park has leaked continuously because it was “not built in a watertight fashion.” The pool opened in the summmer of 2009.
