Albemarle School Board: Tighten laptop cycles

The Albemarle County School Board on Thursday night asked schools staff to take a closer look at its laptop replacement cycles.

Vincent Scheivert of the Department of Accountability, Research and Technology told board members the school system should be on a tighter computer replacement schedule as the county phases out desktop computers for laptops, and focuses more on computer-based curricula.
