Should Charlottesville schools change daily start times?
Monday, March 17, 2014 at 9:09 a.m.

The Charlottesville School Board last week decided to rethink when the school day begins.

Under a proposal prepared by staff, students in grades pre-k through four would start school at 7:50 a.m., rather than the current time of 8:30 a.m., and fifth through eighth graders would start at 8:20 a.m., instead of 7:40 a.m.

How would you like to see the scheduling of the school day handled?

Go with the City's current proposal.

Start elementary schools before middle schools.

Leave the current schedule as is

Start middle schools before elementary schools.

Start both elementary & middle schools at the same time

Spend additional taxpayer money on more buses or other means of transportation.
