CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (June 30th, 2016) – Tom Tom Founders Festival announced the 5th annual Tomtoberfest, a yearly fall block party that will take place in Lee Park on September 23rd and 24th. The event celebrates the local founders in Tom Tom’s “Founding Cville” program, assembles the creative and entrepreneurial organizations in the region, and energizes Charlottesville for the Spring Founders Festival.

This two-day event will feature a variety of musical acts as well as dance performances, a craft beer garden with exclusive New Belgium drafts, and well-known local food trucks.

During the Friday of this year’s Tomtoberfest, Tom Tom will host a regional Tech Mixer, highlighting more than 50 of central Virginia’s fastest-growing companies. This will coincide with a Founding Cville award ceremony, where the community will recognize local innovators who are shaping Charlottesville.

Saturday will include a craft and vintage art fair, family-friendly activities, and more to be announced.
