“We’re not here to do the Hydraulic Road grade-separated intersection,” said Philip Shucet at the inaugural meeting of a group overseeing possible changes to Hydraulic Road-U.S. 29.
In fact, no one knows yet what form proposals might take.
There’s a tendency to look at the current ambition to upgrade the Hydraulic intersection as a possible mirror image of the successful reconstruction effort at Rio Road and U.S. 29.
But as Mr. Shucet said, Hydraulic Road might feature a grade-separated interchange — and it might not.
