More money OK’d to address Crescent Halls’ A/C woes

Amid complaints that the air conditioning system in Crescent Halls is not working properly, the Charlottesville Redevelopment and Housing Authority has authorized spending an additional $37,333 to expedite replacing part of the building’s A/C system.
Crescent Halls, a public housing site whose residents are mostly seniors and disabled people, has had on-and-off problems with air conditioning for several years.
