A Charlottesville community group that helped raised money to support victims of violence at the Aug. 12 Unite the Right is launching a new phase in its efforts to help the city recover after the now-infamous event.
After raising approximately $175,000 in the weeks following the rally, Unity Cville, a coalition of local business owners and community groups held a beer garden and street fair on the Downtown Mall on Saturday to continue raising money, this time to help support local social justice initiatives and organizations.
