Albemarle County Seeking Feedback on County’s Stream Buffer Protection

Please consider taking our brief survey
In keeping with the County’s strategic goal of Natural Resources Stewardship, in the spring and summer of 2017, staff from Albemarle County will work with county residents to review and assess the stream buffer requirements in the County’s Water Protection Ordinance (see Article VI. Beginning at Section 17-600). The ordinance was enacted in 1998 and is designed to protect water quality throughout the County.
As part of this process, the County is conducting a brief, nine question survey to help staff understand the level of public awareness about stream buffers, the ordinance, and efforts to protect water quality in the County. The survey may be accessed here until April 30th and should take no more than five minutes. Please select the best response to each question. All responses are completely anonymous.
Questions may be directed to David Hannah, Natural Resources Manager for Albemarle County, at dhannah@. Thank you in advance for considering taking our survey and providing this important feedback!
