“All the President’s Men” Screening and Discussion

Academy award winning film, “All the President’s Men” will be screened at Vinegar Hill Theater, Tuesday, May 15th at 7pm as part of the Vinegar Hill ’76 Film Series which pays tribute to notable films from 1976, the year the iconic theater opened. “All the President’s Men” starring Robert Redford and Dustin Hoffman as Washington Post reporters Woodward and Bernstein investigating the Watergate scandal. Following Light House Studio’s screening, Jordy Yager, contributor to The New Yorker, NPR, and C-Ville Weekly will lead a post-screening discussion.

Light House Studio, a nonprofit dedicated to equipping young people with the skills and confidence to tell their stories and build community through collaborative filmmaking, is hosting the ’76 Film Series each Tuesday at 7pm at Vinegar Hill Theater until June 26th. Doors open at 6:30pm, and tickets are available at the door or in advance at for $10.

“All the President’s Men has always been a film necessary for our appreciation of democracy. This year, it’s more necessary than ever,” notes Academy award-winning filmmaker Paul Wagner. “And if you want to see great acting and great journalism embodied in a single gesture, just watch Jason Robards after he says ‘run that baby’ to Woodward & Bernstein – that rap of his knuckles on a newsroom desk still gives me the chills.”
