Some voters in Albemarle County could see their voting precinct change before the next presidential election.
Upon the recommendation of the county’s electoral board, the Board of Supervisors on Wednesday approved moving forward with changes to four precincts.
One change affects the Belfield Precinct, as St. Anne’s-Belfield School no longer is available to serve as the voting location. The electoral board recommended merging the Belfield and Jack Jouett precincts and having Jack Jouett Middle School serving as the polling place.
