Voting precincts will be changing for some Albemarle County residents ahead of the next election.

The Board of Supervisors on Wednesday approved moving forward with changes to four precincts that the county’s electoral board recommended.

One change affects the Belfield Precinct, as St. Anne’s-Belfield School no longer is available to serve as the voting location. The Belfield and Jack Jouett precincts will be merged, and Jack Jouett Middle School will serve as the polling place.
