The developer behind a 30-apartment complex and urban farm is seeking final approval on the proposal at the far corner of Charlottesville’s Belmont-Carlton neighborhood.

The City Council and the Planning Commission will hold a joint public hearing this week for a rezoning and special-use permit for the proposed Hogwaller Farm.

The proposal along Nassau Street covers about nine acres straddling the Charlottesville-Albemarle County line.

The public hearing is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall, 605 E. Main St.
