The Charlottesville Parks and Recreation staff and the architects of Charlottesville’s McIntire Park master plans unveiled the designs for the park’s eastern half to the public this week at the Carver Recreation Center. The master plan adds features to the park such as an athletic field, an amphitheater, and an 8.5-acre botanical garden.
