WorkSource Enterprises in Charlottesville organized a carnival Wednesday to celebrate the United Way-Thomas Jefferson Area’s 27th annual Day of Caring.

The event featured more than 30 games, appearances by costumed characters from Star Wars and superhero films, and a visit from the University of Virginia Athletics mascot, Cavman. It ended with a dance party inside WorkSource Enterprises’ offices on Carlton Avenue.

WorkSource Enterprises offers job training, employment and support services to Central Virginia residents with disabilities. It owns and operates BreadWorks Bakery & Deli, which provided lunch for all carnival attendees.
