Rashaad Pitt, a former Richmond assistant principal, will begin his role as Charlottesville High School’s new principal later this month.
Pitt will start work on Aug. 15. The first day of school for Charlottesville City Schools students is Aug. 24. He will be succeeding after Dr. Eric Irizarry, who first joined the city’s schools in July 2016.
