Charlottesville’s Police Civilian Oversight Board Director Hansel Aguilar has resigned after serving in the position for one year.
Aguilar has taken a new position as the Director of Police Accountability for the City of Berkeley, California.
Charlottesville’s interim city manager, Michael Rogers, said the city will “engage in an appropriate search for a new [PCOB] executive director.”
