The Jefferson-Madison Regional Library regrets to inform the community that Central Library in downtown Charlottesville will be closed on Saturday, August 11.
The Library Board of Trustees voted to close Central Library for the day at their monthly board meeting on Monday, July 23 due to concerns for the safety of patrons and staff.
All other JMRL branches will be open for their regular hours, including the Gordon Avenue and Northside branches in the Charlottesville area. Central Library will resume normal hours on Monday, August 13.
