In Virginia, county and city treasurers are elected to four-year terms and serve as chiefs of taxation. L.O. “Lee” Pfeiffer Jr. is the only candidate certified by the Virginia Department of Elections running for the office of Treasurer of Cumberland County.

Pfeiffer is the incumbent, first elected in 1996.

Charlottesville Tomorrow designed a questionnaire for Pfeiffer based on over 200 responses we received to a voter survey. He did not return answers.
