Designer (P/T contract)
Charlottesville Tomorrow is looking for a designer to consult with our leadership team over the next six months on a variety of high-level projects core to the organization’s brand, including: website/CMS redesign, donor-focused materials and campaigns, and public communications.
As a community organization in the process of growing to better serve our audience needs, we would like to find a candidate who is comfortable leading teams through a design process but also likes to tinker with, test, and evolve visual and digital products. We prefer a candidate who has experience with how visual design translates across the internet, through search and social media. This is a part-time contract position that would likely entail an average of 5 to 7 hours per week over a period of 6 to 8 weeks. Compensation is competitive and the terms of the contract are negotiable. Local and non-local candidates are welcome to apply.
As a values-based, mission driven, and community-focused news organization, we are committed to fair hiring practices, to fair compensation, and to seeking diverse perspectives. Please apply if you want to help us better communicate our mission to the Charlottesville area community!
