Jennifer McKeever
announced her bid today for a seat on the
Charlottesville City Council
. “I am running because I love Charlottesville and I want to make Charlottesville a great place for all of its residents,” McKeever said. The City Council election is being held in November 2007.

Jennifer McKeever, who will turn 35 years old on March 26th, is a 1990 graduate of Western Albemarle High School. She graduated from the University of Virginia in 1998 with a BA in History and from American University’s Washington College of Law in 2001. Ms. McKeever is a practicing attorney in the community and a co-founder of the firm Hilton McKeever LLC. She has worked with the Community Development Block Grant Task Force and on the Parks and Recreation Board. She is married and the mother of two children.
