Charlottesville, Virginia… 10/21/2016… Charlottesville Area Transit (CAT) and Bus Lines are encouraging area writers to use their imagination with the latest Bus Lines poetry contest.
This year’s contest asks authors to “Pick Their Style“. Authors have the option to write in one of four styles: Limerick, Acrostic, Tanka, or Off-Book.
There is no cost to participate and authors can submit up to three poems for consideration. Submitted poems should match the author’s selected style and stay within the predetermined length limits.
Winners will have their poems posted on CAT buses as well as have the opportunity to read their work at the Virginia Festival of the Book in March.
