At forum, Albemarle School Board candidates discuss high school capacity, Yancey closure

Candidates for the Albemarle County School Board on Thursday addressed growth in the western part of the county and the possibility of a new high school, among other topics, at a forum hosted by the League of Women Voters of the Charlottesville Area. 
The five School Board candidates — four of them in two contested races — shared their visions for the school division as a whole at the forum, which was held at Central Branch of the Jefferson-Madison Regional Library.
