Owner says IX Art Park threatened by tax hike

When the City of Charlottesville released its commercial real estate tax assessments earlier this year, some property owners got sticker shock with assessments up double, or in some cases, triple digits.

 

The property hit the hardest was the IX Complex between Monticello and Elliott avenues, home of the IX Art Park and multiple small businesses.
