Carol Hurt

Carol Hurt practiced law with McGuire Woods in Richmond and Charlottesville.  She has been active in a number of community organizations, serving on the Albemarle County Public Schools Long Range Planning Committee, and on the board of Piedmont CASA.  Since 1989, she has served on a variety of boards and committees of Martha Jefferson Hospital, including the Martha Jefferson Hospital Medical Affairs Board, which she currently chairs, the Martha Jefferson Hospital Board, the Quality Care Committee, the Advanced Technology Steering Committee and others.

She is a graduate of Wellesley College, B.A. and Durant Scholar, 1977; and of Harvard Law School, J.D. cum laude, 1980.  She resides in Albemarle County with her husband, Blake
