Cat Strumlauf

Cat Strumlauf is the corporate communications manager for Apex Clean Energy, a wind and solar energy company headquartered in Charlottesville. In this role, she works on media relations, digital content creation, and external communications. Previously, she served as public affairs associate for Apex’s Northeast projects. Prior to joining Apex, Cat spent several years in broadcast reporting in Charlottesville, Washington, D.C., and Chicago, which gave her an appreciation for the pressures of the newsroom atmosphere.
Cat earned her MSJ from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism and her BBA in marketing and entrepreneurship from the College of William and Mary’s Mason School of Business. Cat currently resides in Charlottesville with her husband, Raphael.
