Que Sabroso! Latin Music & Culture Festival Returns September 16th

C’ville Sabroso celebrates five years as Charlottesville’s Premier Latin American Music, Art and Dance Festival

Sin Barreras (Without Barriers) and The Lua Project are excited to partner again this year with WTJU 91.1 FM and the IX Art Park to present Cville Sabroso 2017.  The festival will take place on Saturday, September 16th from 12:00 p.m. at the IX Art Park located at 522 2nd Street SE.

“Charlottesville’s Latin American community has flourished over the years, with people arriving from Mexico, Central and South America to settle here, work hard, and raise families, helping to cultivate Charlottesville into the world class city that it is,” said Estela Knott, performance artist and instructor with Luminaria Cville. “This festival celebrates the diverse communities that make our community so wonderful.”

There is no better way to do that than with music, dancing, kids’ activities, and food! This year’s Cville Sabroso festival includes a full and exciting line up of traditional Latin American music and folkloric dance performances. Festival-goers will be able to enjoy local Latin American food and beverages, and Latin inspired artists and vendors who will offer arts and crafts from all across Latin America.

Cville Sabroso is Central Virginia’s only Latin American Music Festival. Bring your family and friends to enjoy a day of culture and tradition from our Latin American neighbors!
