On the Meadowcreek Parkway, Norris said he expects Council to approve the granting of an easement to VDOT on City land used by Charlottesville High School at their June 2, 2008 meeting. That easement is for a portion of the parkway in Albemarle County. At the Southern terminus of the Meadowcreek Parkway is the intersection with the Route 250 Bypass. Council will hold a work session on the design of that interchange at a work session on June 4, 2008 [
“I am actually not a supporter of the Meadowcreek Parkway, but there is a majority on Council to build the road and that is where we are heading,” said Norris. On the interchange design, Norris said he was confident a “scaled down” interchange could be designed that a majority on Council would support.
