Got something to say about it?

  • Weigh in on the housing plan during the public hearing portion of the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors meeting, which begins at 1 p.m. June 16. As of May 24, the agenda had not been set, but it will be posted online a few days in advance. Pethia said that her public hearings usually occur during the evening portion of the meetings, but it’s important that folks who want to sign up to speak should look at the agenda for a more specific time.
  • Comment online, again via the Board of Supervisors meeting agenda page, in the “eComment” section to the right of the online table on the page.
  • Learn about and comment on the Development Areas’ Master Plans via Albemarle Talks initiatives.
  • Keep track of the process via county Planning Commission meetings Tuesdays at 6 p.m. Meetings are virtual until further notice, at which point they will return to the Lane Auditorium of the Albemarle County Office Building at 401 McIntire Road.

All county residents — both renters and homeowners alike — can share comments and get involved.
