Charlottesville Tomorrow’s mission is to deliver in-depth reporting and analysis that improves local decision-making. We seek to expand civic engagement to foster a vibrant, inclusive, and interdependent community. So we’ve developed a system to track metrics that are closer to this mission — and developed an impact tracking system embedded across our whole organization.
In this participatory workshop, we’ll learn about where participants are in their metrics journey, Charlottesville Tomorrow’s CEO and Community Editor will demo our tracking system, and we’ll take questions from the group. After the session, you’ll be able to schedule one-on-one time with the Charlottesville Tomorrow team at no additional charge to follow up on your journey.
We will work through steps so that you can identify:
*What can be classified as impact and how can your leadership team communicate that to your full organization
*How to simplify the impact input process a way that makes it an everyday task for all departments
*Why having the impact metrics accrue over time makes a difference and how to use those metrics to make strategic decisions and report to stakeholders
*How you know your impact tracking is successful
