The public is invited to hear from regional officials and participate in open forum

As we approach the anniversary of the events of August 12, 2017, the City of Charlottesville and its regional partners have been training and preparing over the last few months in an effort to ensure public safety and create opportunities for healing during this time.

The community is invited to hear an update from regional officials on these preparations at a special community briefing to be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 12, 2018, at Mount Zion First African Baptist Church. There will also be an open forum to address questions.

This event will be streamed live on the City’s Facebook (@CharlottesvilleCityHall) and Twitter (@CvilleCityHall) accounts and recorded for re-broadcast on the City’s Government Access Channel (Comcast Cable Ch. 10).
