I just listened to the podcast of today’s Sunday Morning Wake-Up Call radio program on WNRN. Rick Moore interviewed Supervisors Lindsay Dorrier (Scottsville) and Dennis Rooker (Jack Jouett) about the local real estate assessments in Albemarle County, the switch to annual assessments, the many restrictions on local government when it comes to taxes and land use decisions, and the upcoming 2007-08 County budget. It was a good program and I highly recommend it to anyone with questions about these matters.
