On October 10, 2012, the Rivanna Conservation Society convened an information session on plans for dredging the South Fork Rivanna Reservoir.
RCS chairman Jack Brown moderated a question and answer session with Thomas L. Frederick, Jr., executive director of the Rivanna Water & Sewer Authority. Frederick was asked a series of questions by Brown, followed by questions form an audience of about a dozen citizens.
