Is Albemarle County focusing on the right target industries?
The Target Industry Study says Albemarle County should focus on attracting and growing the following industries: bioscience and medical devices, business and financial services, information technology/defense and security, and agribusiness. Last week, the Planning Commission began working on ensuring there is room for these future businesses in the land designations of the Comprehensive Plan.
