Jason Buyaki is a candidate for the Rivanna District seat on the Albemarle County School Board. Five of the seven seats on board will be determined in the Nov. 3 election. Buyaki is an incumbent running unopposed.

Bio: Jason moved to Albemarle County in 2006 and embraced it as his home. With a young family, and life centered around the school community Jason served on the Stony Point PTO and as a Parent Council Representative. While serving on the School Board, he continues to focus on wise usage of taxpayer funds, expanded learning opportunities for students, accountability, liberty, and transparent governance.
