When you’re making progress, it’s important to keep up momentum — and Ravi Respeto has every intention of keeping the United Way-Thomas Jefferson Area moving forward.
The charity’s new president has met with dozens of local nonprofit agencies, businesses and key donors in her first six weeks in the driver’s seat. It’s a pace she says she’s likely to keep up.
Respeto, 45, took the wheel from Cathy Train in July. Train led the local United Way for 30 years, turning the 75-year-old charity from a source of funding to a force for change.
