Albemarle County has had a long and rich agricultural heritage beginning with the issuance of the first land patents in the 1730’s. To help document some of that history, the Albemarle Charlottesville Historical Society is seeking help to identify those families who have worked and cultivated the land in Albemarle County the longest.
