Piedmont Housing Alliance partners with Capital One to provide financial counseling services

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – Piedmont Housing Alliance today announced its partnership with Capital One in providing residents in the Thomas Jefferson Planning District with free financial counseling and coaching services.  A recent grant will support “Housing Counseling for Home Ownership and Financial Capability.”

“Capital One has become a great supporter of the counseling services at Piedmont Housing Alliance,” stated Frank Grosch, Executive Director. “Local residents are the winners when we are able to offer free counseling to individuals and families who want to learn to budget, improve their credit, build financial stability, and become first time home owners.”

Piedmont Housing Alliance is an affordable housing non-profit working in the city of Charlottesville and Albemarle, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, and Nelson counties. The mission of Piedmont Housing is to create housing opportunities and build community through education, lending and development.
