On July 13, 2009, the Piedmont Environmental Council
sponsored a panel discussion
entitled “The Route 29 Solution – Winning Federal Support.” The panelists described why they are supporting Albemarle County’s
Places29 Master Plan
for the Route 29 Corridor north of Charlottesville.
One of the speakers was
Wayne Cilimberg
, the County’s Director of Planning. He presented slides that sought to address many of the frequently raised concerns about the master plan.
