WAHS students posing as gubernatorial candidate Ken Cuccinelli's campaign staff attempting to sway voters

On October 29 and 30, students from Albemarle and Western Albemarle high schools participated in mock elections through the Youth Leadership Initiative at the University of Virginia Center for Politics. To learn about the campaign process and each candidate’s platforms, each year WAHS students assume the roles of campaign staff and attempt to sway voters to choose their candidate. Students will learn the results on Friday, November 1.
