Albemarle County Board of Supervisors Chairman
David Slutkzy
(Rio) says there won’t be many changes now that he’s holding the gavel.
“We actually have quite a spectrum of ideologies represented on our Board, and we represent a broad range of voices in the community,” Slutzky said during an appearance on WINA’s Charlottesville Live with Rick Daniels and Jane Foy. “It’s much more of a formality role.”
Slutzky appeared on WINA on January 8, 2009 just one day after assuming the chairmanship. He talked about the upcoming budget cycle, poverty in Albemarle County, and how a Regional Transit Authority would benefit the community.
