CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA — Grab the popcorn, sit back and relax, and keep cool this summer with a free Family Film Series presented by Violet Crown Cinema and the Virginia Discovery Museum on Charlottesville’s Downtown Mall. Starting June 21 and continuing through Aug. 18, a family-friendly film will screen every other week on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. at Violet Crown.
The film series is free to attend, but space is limited. Tickets are available at Violet Crown on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is reached. The film series kicks off June 21 at 10:30 a.m. with “Fantastic Mr. Fox,” which will show again at 10:30 a.m. June 23.
After the movie, families can enjoy half-price same-day admission to the Virginia Discovery Museum when they redeem their ticket stub at the museum’s check-in desk.
