The West2nd team has chosen Hourigan as the project’s Construction Manager. Hourigan Director of Client Solutions Michael Henley said “Hourigan is pleased to be selected as the project’s Construction Manager and to collaborate with the West2nd team’s vision and local expertise to benefit the Charlottesville community.”
In June of 2018, the BAR approved the massing and site design proposed by West2nd in their certificate of appropriateness as compatible with the property and other properties in the Downtown area. With these approved, demolition and construction of the project is anticipated to begin in the fall of 2018 with delivery in late 2020.
